Most of our customers are maximising their roof space with as many solar panels as they need to bring their power bills to $0 to prepare for the high-demand summer months.
Investing in the Powerwall 3 has never been easier. Thanks to Solar Victoria's $8,800 interest-free battery loan, you can reduce your upfront costs and save on your energy bills immediately.
By getting your solar and battery system up and running in the spring, you'll be well-prepared to handle the increased energy demands of summer, which means energy independence and more savings!
Tesla's high-quality inverter ensures that if any issues arise with your inverter or battery, you’ll only need to contact one company, avoiding third-party complications.
*Federal government incentives cover the cost of solar panels. Additional installation costs apply.
*Powerwall 3 installations will be scheduled based on the order in which we receive them.
The Powerwall 3 is a fully integrated home battery system that allows households to use, store and manage their energy like never before. These new innovations from Tesla have revolutionised the solar storage field with more efficient and reliable whole-home backup and blackout protection, allowing you to keep your home up and running during power outages, even when the rest of the street is in darkness. The Powerwall 3 offers extensive energy management, reducing your reliance on grid power, boosting your energy independence and, of course, maximising your solar savings.Â
The Tesla App provides real-time monitoring of your Powerwall 2's performance. You can adjust settings, manage energy use, and stay informed about your home's energy status – all conveniently from your smartphone.
Tesla is known for providing their customers with a warranty that not only offers above adequate coverage but also provides peace of mind to households looking to gain independence and take charge of their own energy management.Â
The Powerwall 3 warranty is about the same as that of the Powerwall 2, with none of that industry leading coverage lost. For the most part the Powerwall warranty is fairly standard with a coverage period of 10 years and an end of warranty capacity guarantee of 70%. Where the Tesla warranty becomes special is when we take a look at the battery cycles covered.Â
Battery cycles are another way of manufacturers measuring their lifespan, when your battery completes a charge and discharge this is referred to as once cycle. In most cases, once the home battery exceeds the cycle limit the warranty ends, even if there are still a few years of coverage left. Tesla offers an unlimited battery cycle warranty for their customers, so you can rest assured you’ll have the support you need if anything were to go wrong while you continue to enjoy your investment for years to come.
The Tesla Powerwall 3 has a few key differences that set it apart from not only its predecessor, the Powerwall 2, but the majority of home batteries on the market. Not only is it a great value deal with more advanced technology for greater power, increasing your savings and reducing your reliance on your energy retailer, but this is paired with a comprehensive warranty from Tesla so you can worry less about your investment.
The Powerwall 3 is easily expandable to meet your growing energy needs, designed for stacking of up to 4 units or 54kWh, to put this into perspective the average Australian home only uses around 18kWh per day. This battery is equipped for either floor or wall mounting and is perfectly fine to be installed both indoors and outdoors.Â
While this is all great, the real advantage of the Powerwall 3 is in the new addition of a built-in solar inverter. This integrated hybrid inverter allows your solar to be connected directly to the solar battery (DC coupled), significantly reducing the electrical conversions necessary for solar energy to be used in the home. This greatly improves efficiency, capturing more solar power in the process.Â
Tesla has redesigned their Active Thermal Management for the Tesla Powerwall 3 in order to elevate the performance and efficiency of the module. The more advanced thermal management technology allows the battery to have more control over its operating temperature.Â
Essentially this means the battery is better optimised to withstand all weather conditions, extending the lifespan and ensuring that the battery continues to perform even if the conditions are less than ideal.

Yes, the Tesla Powerwall 3 is compatible with all of the major solar inverters, with options for both DC and AC coupling.
No, the Powerwall 3 is set up to share its built-in inverter with your panel array. This is called an integrated hybrid inverter, it connects your solar straight to the battery, reducing the number of electrical conversions necessary and greatly improving efficiency.Â
There are a few key differences between the previous model Powerwall 2 and the later version Powerwall 3. First let's quickly go over the similarities, both home battery systems have a storage capacity of 13.5kWh as well as the same warranty agreement. Where we see the real improvements between the Powerwall 3 and its earlier counterpart is in performance and efficiency, the Powerwall 3 has more than double the continuous power output capacity (10kW) in comparison to the Powerwall 2 (5kW). This is largely due to the integrated hybrid inverter, a feature unique to the Powerwall 3, resulting in a round-trip efficiency increase from the Powerwall 2’s 90% to an astounding 97.5% seen in the Powerwall 3. For a more detailed comparison head over to our blog.
