Every month without a battery is money leaving your pocket.

• Grid electricity prices have risen 27% since 2023. A battery lets you consume your own solar instead of buying from the grid at peak rates.

• Demand from the Cheaper Home Batteries program means CEC-accredited installers are booking 6–10 weeks ahead. Waiting another month is another month of full grid bills.

Here's who's eligible for the battery rebate.

• Available to homeowners, small businesses, and community groups installing batteries between 5–100 kWh (rebate applies to the first 50kWh of usable capacity).

• The rebate is tiered and varies depending on the size of your chosen battery.

• Owners of existing systems can add another battery and still qualify. You can claim for multiple properties.

• Must be installed with a new or existing solar system by a CEC-accredited installer.
